Every Zayah perfume / cologne is composed from botanical aromatic essence chosen for their beauty, complexity, and heritage – creating distinct harmonious scents that unravel ties to alternate worlds. We honor the traditions of perfumery that originated long before modern synthetic scent compounds became commonplace. Each Zayah perfume and cologne is then blended into a naturally derived scentless carrier oil option – corn grain – creating modern luxurious perfumes and colognes rooted in nature.

In our creation process we use a 4 level system of note classification (or scent volatility) matured from the ancient understanding of medicine and being – Ayurveda – one of the earliest starting points of medicinal practice. Leaving us with our own classification system of Spirit, Head, Heart, & Ground.

Ayurvedic discipline looks at the elements of this world – ether, air, fire, water, earth – and establishes a belief that each individual has their own distinct concentration of these elements within. These form to create Doshas (Vata = airy, light hearted, creative, corresponding to the spiritual. Pitta = blazing emotion, direct, associated with the heart. Kapha = slow to act, care-ful, relating to the physical.)

From here, based upon your situation – understanding of your makeup allows the practitioner to best create a plan for healing. Utilizing different herbs and attributes of the natural world (remember: essential oils are extracted from plant-life) to mend your ailment, whether it be physical or spiritual.

Therefore, being built upon such practices, Zayah remains true to these metaphysical attributes; aiding in the regulation of your mood and energy field.

Such as, using a Vata oriented Zayah product to uplift you – as the light and fast moving nature of the molecules and scent interact with you on a deeper level – keeping you tuned to a light and airy mood for the day. Conversely, if you feel that you need to be more grounded – look for a Zayah product opposite your nature.

If you’re a fast mover overlooking some details – look for a Kapha based product; feeling too precautious – a Pitta based product.

Similar to the classical meaning of the commonly known French terms – Eau De Parfum & Eau De Cologne – denoting strength, not gender. Here, we coined Eau De Toi for that same purpose. Stronger than both perfume & cologne – Eau De Toi sits at around 50% aromatic concentration of organic essential oils.

Eau De Toilette (water/fragrance of toilete) 5-15%,
Eau De Parfum (water/fragrance of perfume) 15-40%,
Eau De Toi (Zayah / Fragrance Of You) around 50% aromatic concentration – scents lasting well beyond 24hrs.
